Northwest Boys Down Crete, 2-0

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest boys soccer team defeated Crete on Tuesday night by a final score of 2-0. 

The Vikings' goals would come from junior Xavier Corona, who now has 21 goals scored this year for Northwest. Both goals would come in the first half. 

Northwest has now won two in a row, to run their record to 9-5. The regular season finale for both boys and girls will be Thursday, April 30th, hosting the Seward Bluejays. 

Also, Tuesday night, the Northwest girls (9-5) would get a win, 10-0 at Gibbon. The Buffaloes are in their first season playing high school soccer.
