Northwest VB Sweeps into B-4 Final

Northwest completed a hard fought sweep of Beatrice in the semifinal round of the B-4 District Volleyball Tournament Thursday. Northwest had only two service points the first two rotations but didn't allow any to take a 14-12 lead. The Vikings outscored the Lady Orange 10-3 to close the first set. Northwest put together a five point service run from Kenna Bowman in the second to break open a 10-7 scored in the second. Beatrice took its first lead of the night 10-9 in the third, but the Vikes responded with four in a row and held on for the win. Nasya Anderson, Elli Payne and Ava Janulewicz all hit double figures in kills.
