HASTINGS - Senator Pete Ricketts and Congressman Adrian Smith hosted an ethanol roundtable in Hastings Wednesday to discuss the future of renewable fuels, year-round E15, the 45Z tax credit, and Nebraska’s role in American energy dominance.

Senator Ricketts and Congressman Smith were joined by 17 local producers, farmers, and industry advocates to discuss policy goals for 2026. As Nebraska remains a global leader in value-added agriculture, the Senator continues to advocate for policies that prioritize American-grown feedstocks over foreign imports.
